That's great advice Beto, and very true about letting go of your ego. Given how thick my French accent still is after years of speaking English, I don't think I personally have a choice ahah, but interacting with understanding and patient native speakers made a big difference in my learning journey.

Your comment made me realise something I didn't mention in the article: There isn't any "Speaking" component in Duolingo for Japanese. That would be great.
